Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) was the most quiet member of Congress immediately following Hamas terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians that began on October 7. She was also the only Palestinian American to be present in either chamber. Her legislative agenda was centered around “Palestinian Rights”, at the expense of Jewish lives.

She continued to speak about the attacks and reaffirmed why she is often called “the leader” of the House Hamas Caucus. She blamed Israel for the violence, and said that it would continue so long as “our nation continues to provide billions unconditionally to the apartheid government.”

Tlaib took it a step further with rambling remarks on Wednesday. He threatened Joe Biden and incited antisemitic “protesters” who were only steps away from the Capitol to seize portions of the Capitol Complex. The incident led to the arrest of 300 people, including three for allegedly assaulting police officers.

After the damage was done, Tlaib learned the hard way that her words and actions, as well as those of the terrorist government she supports have consequences.

The Hilton Hotel in Houston, which was scheduled to host a conference featuring Tlaib and antisemitic activist Linda Sarsour at the end of October, has canceled the event.

The Hilton Houston Post-Oak by Galleria is not affiliated with any organizations or groups. A Hilton Houston Post-Oak by Galleria spokesperson told CNN that “the safety and security of our Team Members and guests is our top priority.”

The hotel stated that it would not be able to host the event due to safety concerns for its Team Members and guests. ”

The conservatives allegedly started a campaign in order to get the Hilton to withdraw from hosting the event. However, the decision to do so was not made until after Tlaib’s speech.

Naturally, the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights tried to spin the decision as an example of “ethnic, racial, and religious discrimination,” and accused the Hilton of standing “on the side of hate and bigotry”:

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has, however, praised the Hilton’s decision and suggested that no venue in Texas should be willing to host or sponsor an antisemitic group:

Tlaib had been scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the conference. As of this writing, there hasn’t been any word on whether or not the conference will be rescheduled.
