The Associated Press Doesn’t Understand Free Speech, And That’s Scary

Mainstream media decided that it was open season to attack Tesla CEO Elon Muss for wanting to buy Twitter, and not censor liberal opinions. Elon Musk has been the subject of hit pieces, and even a federal investigation.

This is just another example of how the radical left cannot tolerate other points of view.

The Associated Press has the latest hit piece. You have to see it to believe some things, and this one will make you laugh.

“If Musk’s 50-year-old gambit has shown anything, it’s that he thrives upon contradiction,” wrote Tom Krisher, Michael Liedtke and Adam Geller from the AP. Musk boasts that he is acquiring Twitter in order to protect freedom of speech. He has used Twitter for years to criticize those who disagree with him.

We can argue that freedom of speech is the right to voice one’s opinion without fear of reprisal or censorship from the government. However, Elon Musk made it clear that his vision for Twitter was that the platform, which is a private company, would not censor any opposing views. The Associated Press appears to believe that Twitter can be used to “attack others who disagree with you”, which is both shocking and quite revealing.
