The View celebrated Friday’s historic conviction for former President Trump as a win for the nation.

Sunny Hostin said, “I felt America won.” “I felt as though I had won. ”

Joy Behar, the co-host, admitted: “I got so excited, I began to leak a bit. ”

The hosts, including two Republicans who were vehemently opposed to Trump, sat at the table with a big grin on their faces and then walked away. They each took turns narrating how they learned of the guilty verdict.

Whoopi Goldberg read the guilty verdict on live television in a dramatic way, to cheers and applause from the audience. Ana Navarro applauded as well, despite Goldberg’s blunder. She called Trump “conflicted”, before correcting her mistake to “convicted”. ”

Trump has been found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying records to conceal a $130,000 payment to Stormy to keep her quiet regarding an alleged affair that Trump had with Stormy Daniels.

Goldberg said: “He was cheap, and you got what it cost.” ”

A 12-person jury was present. Behar said, “They all agreed that he had committed all 34 charges.”

Alyssa Griff, former Trump aide and co-host, started speaking out about Trump’s claims that the 2020 election was stolen, but she said that even though she expected it, she is still shocked.

He said that although it was likely, he did not expect that this would happen.

She said he could “get away with it” because there are only five months left until the presidential election and the appeals procedure. ”

Navarro stated that Trump’s conviction was a long-awaited event. He said it was a sad, but deserved day.

“This man made my life into a nightmare for the last four years.” He has made the lives of our countrymen miserable for six years, and he should be held accountable,” Navarro said. “He was Teflon his entire life.” “He’s been getting away with cheating and lying and doing things and, you know, criminal acts, all these years. ”

Hostin said that she wasn’t at all sad, and compared her win with the New York Knicks winning the NBA Finals.

Trump spoke to the media in Trump Tower, Friday after the conviction. He attacked the jury, the prosecutors and the judge. Trump said that he will continue to appeal and fight for his supporters.
