Donald Trump, a former President, called President Joe Biden “slow to draw” when responding to Russian threats Tuesday. He also questioned why his family was given a multimillion-dollar sum by the wife of a high-ranking Russian official as a response to the Kremlin’s announcement Tuesday of sanctions against the president, son Hunter Biden and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Hunter was sent $3.5 million by Elena Baturina to wire her money. Baturina is a Russian woman of high wealth and the ex-wife of Yury Luzhkov. A Senate report in September 2020 revealed details about the work of the Biden family in Ukraine.

2020 Senate Report revealed that the Biden family was involved in Ukraine’s financial affairs, while Joe Biden was vice-president. The New York Post reported that:

The investigation revealed that two Obama administration officials expressed concerns to White House officials in 2015 about the possibility of Burisma’s younger Biden sitting on the board. His father, Vice President Joe Biden, was responsible for Ukraine policy.

According to the report, Obama knew Hunter’s position was preventing “the efficient execution” of policy with regard to Ukraine. However, officials tried to raise alarms but were ignored.

It was also claimed that Hunter had “formed significant, consistent financial relationships” (with Mykola Zlochevsky founder of Burisma) and that he and Devon Archer, his business partner, “made millions from that association,” while his father was vice-president.

During the presidential debate, Biden said that he had never taken money from foreign sources. “Nothing was unethical.”

Trump then attacked Chris Wallace, a former Fox News moderator for his opposition to Trump’s attempt to expose the transaction during a 2020 Debate with Biden.

Russian authorities announced sanctions against several Democrats and Biden administration associates, including Clinton, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.

These sanctions are symbolic and prevent Americans from travelling to Russia.
